About

SafeBouND is a free safety escort service. It is designed to promote the safety of individuals or small groups who walk on campus during the evening hours.

Hours

Sunday - Wednesday: 9:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.  Golf cart/Mini van/Walking Escorts
Thursday - Saturday: 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.  Golf cart (if available)/Mini van (if available)/Walking Escorts

(On Saturdays, when we have a football night game, SafeBouND service will begin at 10 pm.)

How to request the SafeBouND service:

For students, use the ND Mobile App, look under Getting Around, select Transit, then Request a SafeBouND Escort. 

For faculty and staff, use the ND Mobile App, look under Transit, select SafeBouND, then Request a SafeBouND Escort.

You can also call SafeBouND, to request a ride.

• Call (574) 631-5555.
• Give your name, location, and destination.
• Wait for the SafeBouND golf cart, minivan or SafeBouND walkers.
• Show your Notre Dame ID at the time of pickup.
