Faculty & Staff
University of Notre Dame faculty and staff receive the benefit of free parking while employed at the University.
Faculty, staff, and retirees may park in any "B" parking lot with a valid permit. Parking for (B) permit holders is also available for up to 90 minutes in any "A" parking lot with a valid permit. Available lots are listed below and indicated on the Unversity's campus map.
Effective March 1, 2024, there is a replacement fee of $35 for faculty/staff/retiree enhanced parking permits. This applies to lost/missing hang tags only. The current hang tags are valid through August, 2026. You do not need to come in for anything new unless you have lost a tag and wish to replace it. Be sure to report your lost/missing tags to parking@nd.edu.

All "B" lots are gated. A valid (B) permit must be displayed.

"A" Parking Lots
"A" lots are available to (B) permit holders for up to 90 minutes with a valid (B) permit displayed.

Alternative Parking
In addition to the lots listed above, faculty, staff, and retirees may also park in any "C" or "D" student parking lot. Student parking lots are not gated.

- Walsh Student Lot
Do not park in the Graduate Student "G" lots (Wilson/Rugby), the Walsh Visitor Lot, the Bookstore Retail, or the Legends Patron Lot.
