Temporary Storage Accommodations

How to claim your PEV from storage

Temporary Storage

If you are unable to bring your Personal Electric Vehicle (PEV) home with you, NDPD is offering temporary storage accommodations through the end of the Spring 2024 semester. During the times listed below, you may bring your device to White Field where your device will be stored in a shared storage container until you can make arrangements to take it home. Be sure to bring your NDID with you. All devices must be claimed by May 20, 2024. Devices not claimed by that date will be disposed of by NDPD. Only PEVs will be accepted. This is not a storage solution for traditional bicycles or other items.

Voluntary Disposal

If you have a PEV that you are not interested in keeping and would like to dispose of, bring your PEV to the designated drop-off location during the listed days/times to be donated or recycled.

To Claim a PEV in Storage

To claim a device in storage, stop into Hammes Mowbray Hall with your NDID anytime and an officer will assist you in returning your PEV. Please note this process could take 30 minutes or more depending on officer availability. If you would like, you may call NDPD at 574-631-5555 in advance of your arrival as this could - but is not guaranteed to - lessen your wait time.

If you are claiming an impounded device, please follow those instructions.

Designated Pick-up Dates & Times

For you convenience, NDPD designated pick-up windows to expedite the claim process for those claiming their devices at the conclusion of the Spring Semester.  During the times listed below, please claim your device at the storage containers located across from Ave Maria Press in White Field. There is parking available if you choose to drive a vehicle to the location. Please bring with you your NDID, and visit our staff located under the canopy tent upon your arrival.
