Presidential Inauguration Parking and Shuttles

Parking

Faculty, staff, students, and guests attending the Presidential Inauguration of Rev. Robert Dowd, C.S.C. events must abide by the University's parking rules and regulations. To accomodate these events, there will be a number of parking lot and traffic closures.

Wednesday, September 11: Regular parking rules and regulations are in effect. Guest parking is available in open lots after 4:00 PM.

Thursday, September 12: Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to park in their normal parking areas. Guests may park in Baseball, Bulla, Compton, Joyce, and Walsh Lots.

Friday, September 13: Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to park in their normal parking areas. Guests may park in Baseball, Bulla, Compton, Innovation Park, Joyce, and Walsh Lots.

Shuttles

In addition to the normal campus shuttles, the University is providing additional shuttles and routes for your convenience during the Presidential Inauguration of Rev. Robert Dowd, C.S.C. events.

Parking lot & road closures

During Inauguration Week, plan for the closure of select roads, lots, and parking spaces.

Throughout the week of September 9–13, please be aware of the following road closures and parking lot restrictions:

  • On Tuesday, September 10, the parking spaces along Moose Krause Circle north of the football stadium will be closed at 4:00 p.m. and will not reopen until Friday after 10:00 p.m.

  • To assist those who regularly use the ADA spaces along Moose Krause Circle, ADA spaces are temporarily added to the Bulla Faculty/Staff Lot and the Bulla Student Lot. The shuttle will continue to run the Bulla/Library/Snite route as follows:

    • Wednesday, September 11: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

    • Thursday, September 12: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    • Friday, September 13: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

  • On Wednesday, September 11, Moose Krause Circle between the Galvin Life Sciences Center and St. Joseph Drive will be closed the entire day for the Inauguration Picnic.

  • Beginning Thursday, September 12, the westernmost portion of the Bookstore West Lot will be closed. This closure will last through Friday, September 13.

  • Beginning Thursday, September 12, the southernmost portion of the Stadium Lot will be closed. This closure will last from Thursday evening through Friday, September 13.

  • Beginning Thursday, September 12, the westernmost portion of the Dorr Lot will be closed. This closure will last from Thursday evening through Tuesday morning.
