Student Permits

Annual Permit

Annual student permits are distributed at the start of each academic year and can be purchased online through ParkND or in person at the Parking Services Office during regular business hours (8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday) Prior to the beginning of each academic year the pricing and sale dates will be posted for those students that are eligible to bring a vehicle to campus. 

• Summer Semester (2023/2024)  student permits are available now. The cost is $115.00 (applied to your student account).
• The Summer permit is valid through August 20, 2024. 
• The opening sale date (and pricing) for the "Fall 24-25" full-year permits will be posted in early August, 2024.
• Students are required to have a valid permit on their vehicle.

Temporary Permits

Temporary student permits can now be purchased at the Parking Services Office for $30.00 per week ($6.00 per day). The charge is sent directly to your student account.  The permit must be displayed on the vehicle and lot assignments will be the (C) or (D) student parking lots.

Important Permit Information

• Students must adhere to University Of Notre Dame Parking Rules And Regulations (PDF, 48k)
• Student Parking Permits are not valid in the Legends Restaurant Lot, the Bookstore Retail 1-Hour Parking lot, or in any gated faculty/staff lot during regular business hours (6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday).
• The student permit has a repositionable seal and may only be transferred to another vehicle registered on your ParkND account.
• Limit one permit per student.
• Whether you purchase online or in person, student permits are automatically billed to your student account.
• Permits will not be mailed. You will receive a confirmation notification at time of purchase; and you will be notified via email when your permit is ready for pick-up from the Parking Services Office (located in Hammes Mowbray Hall).
